Our day will begin at 08:30 am, we will leave from your hotel in private transport for 20 minutes, to a local indigenous community of Cotacachi, the guide will be waiting together with the horses, ready to begin our adventure. We will pass through different local communities, approximately 12km of route.
In the tour course, we will observe the sowings, the Andean landscapes, we will know the lifestyle of the indigenous people and we will complement our tour with visit to Cuicocha Lake . We will visit the Cuicocha lagoon, a volcanic crater, located within the Cotacachi Cayapas ecological reserve, we will have free time for a short walk or at the same time they can have lunch, while our transport comes to pick us up. In the afternoon we will return to Otavalo / hotel or lodging place.

We leave from Otavalo to Cuicocha community around 20 minutes by transport.
We will start to riding horse to Cuicocha lake, this route offer a good panoram y beautiful landscape.
At National Park we will go to visit the Cuicocha lake with different view points around 30 to 45 minutes. Also you can go by boat around the islands with extra cost and will be pay diretly at the lake (optional).
We will ride a horse for back to the Cuicocha Community.
After horseback ridign we will take a transport to Otavalo and end our services
